Choongum makes experimental electronic music that moves between modes. Ambient and downtempo on one side, trance-leaning dance tracks on the other, with trip hop, hyphy, and hip hop running underneath. It tends toward the atmospheric and the melodic, loose in structure, leftfield and bright.,

His DJ sets work the same way, drifting from chill-out rooms to club floors and back. He has played in Mexico, China, Australia, Sri Lanka, and the United States.

He also paints and photographs the places he travels through. The music, the images, and the canvases all come from the same eye.
